Cake specialties in Christmas and New Year comes from Verona
Christmas atmosphere gave me a chance to know a variety of European pastries, oliebollen, florentines, lussekatter, gingerbread, krumkake and many more that I have not known before this trip.
This time in front of me, Pan d'oro (or Pandoro) and always served with Panettone, more complete when shared with coffee. It feels like a donut that I met in my hometown, so.
Italian sweet yeast bread, I enjoy it slowly, watching vanilla sprinkles like the snow of the Alps. Christmas is getting closer.
