Anitkabir

As a final funeral of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk

Precisely this a mausoleum, very stately, strong and big. Known as the founding father of modern Turkish state, died in Istanbul in 1938 at the age of 57 years, but only 15 years later his remains were transferred to Anitkabir.

You will be fascinated, wide field, surrounded by museums, guards with uniforms to keep this place.

Enchanting place, enthusiastic tourists passing around me.

We had gone quite far, up to the shopping area, or around The Strand Arcade, but somehow always end up here.

Maybe you already know the flavors and seasonings, burgers can be tried, or their salad which always feels spicy, maybe.

It was enough, like the other travelers. For us.

A busy afternoon in Harbour Town

Peak hours ahead home from the office

Throughout the sunny afternoon in the city center, around Harbour Town, the sun shines brightly, but the current city temperature reaches 0 degrees Celsius, fresh air, clean water, no pollution, and peaceful.

All changed when they wanted to go home, waiting for city transportation, reaching home soon, in an exhausted body.

It appealed to me other than the tired faces, the ads are displayed on top of the terminal, "David Bowie is here!"

A day in Zaanse Schans - 2

In addition to the windmills and traditional houses, find also their woodenshoe/clogs craft

True, we can enjoy the typical houses of the region, save a lot of stories of the past are well-preserved, as depicted in the Zaanse Museum.

Colorful as the expression of the work of local artists, wooden sandals or clogs (klompen), a long work with devotion, even became one of the icons in the region.

Unique woodenshoe decorate the place of sale, and the desire to try it. Perhaps one is not enough!

A beach with a bright blue sea, Plage de l'Ecluse

Traveling smoothly and seamlessly with a large bus, so do not feel too tired, about 2 hours from Saint Malo, passes the highway which is similar as in the toll road, arrived in the city with a pristine white sandy beach.

Become a great place for Kendo sports fans, which is increasingly familiar in this country.

You will hear the sound of seagulls, flying freely around the silence of the beach.

The Quiet Wegberg

A small town about 2 hours from Bochum by train and bus

Nothing feels to be in a small town and pretty, early summer you will see farms, wheat, potatoes, corn, raps, and various kinds of vegetables wide as far as the eye can see.

I wonder what I was thinking, houses neatly lined with small gardens decorated with colorful flowers.

But, believe me, they are also a great culinary providers.

Helga Deen

Tilburg-born girl who was killed in a Nazi concentration camp in Sobibor in 1943

I want to enjoy the atmosphere of this city, fixated on the figure of a statue, her long saga, as one marker of events of German invasion to Tilburg in World War II.

That's interesting. Figure sculptures are easy to find, when you are in the city center, Willem II Straat.

Walk on, you'll find the synagogue, even a place famous jazz music playing, Paradox.

Kruikenzeiker

A statue at the Heuvelstraat intersection

Maybe I was just curious, seeing these figures with a jug in his left hand, but some friends counting on the story of the past behind the statue.

Whether because of something, the statue inspire, all workers in the city must accommodate their urine in a jug. To take the ammonia contained, then became the basic material of wool fabric washing.

I looked at the statue, scratches on his face, Kruikenzeiker, thus becoming the designation for the citizens of Tilburg.

Bridge in Sneek

In a journey to Friesland

Attractive scenery in front of us, a different journey, remembering a special case. Bridge pastry nests, or maybe similar to a type of cake, waffle?

Of course the question, what is thought by the engineer when creating the bridge?

But, whoever they were behind the making, is certainly inspiring.

Melbourne Freezing Conditions

Rainy cold mist close to 0 degrees Celsius

Nothing else I can do, from top to watch the city shrouded in fog, slowly covered the city.

We just sat in front of the television, perhaps the most appropriate entertainment while watching the Wimbledon final, Federer vs Djokovic, at 4 pm in the UK and at 2 am in Melbourne.

Although the game progresses quite hot, but our bodies are constantly shivering.
