Aphrodisias, a gateway of love

The name is derived from the goddess of love, Aphrodite

I'm here with my friends, this is a long journey to reach the ruins of a small town built on the Greek period AD 200 in Caria, leading from the north-south main street of the town, partly excavated and partly undiscovered.

The sunlight on my face even though the wind was blowing gently, a monumental gateway or tetrapylon, a large courtyard in front of a shrine to Aphrodite. Many lovers, both from the gods, such as Ares, as well as of the humans, for example Anchises.

We do a lot of talking to each other, silent, and enjoy the stories from the heyday of the Roman. I just feel the warmth around, and smiles of friends.
