Diamond City Bridge of Jakarta

A night walking in the old town of Jakarta

The evenings were a little warm in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city, a suspension bridge built in 1628 from the Dutch East Indies colonial administration with iron and wood construction, located in the old city area.

Diamond City Bridge (Jembatan Kota Intan), which is the official designation book of travel guides. Bridges that keep the story from the past, when the great river below became the traffic lanes of ship to Jakarta.

Imagine in the future once glorious, periodically merchant ships off through this river, as if you are in Amsterdam, paddle and explore the rivers and canals.
