Piraeus, the city where the salt had triumphed

Seductive port city which was once the salt fields

A long history in this city, in an ancient Greece, called the city of Helipedon, salt fields, special places we visited about half an hour from Athens.

Quiet atmosphere around me, even though a lot of activity at the harbor, where dozens of private boats, yachts lean, from small to large. They wait for the right time to get to other destinations, such as Santorini or Mykonos.

It's a time to walk, a row of restaurants and drinking places on the edge of the harbor, and enjoy a glass of typical Greek iced coffee.
